Gingernut Biscuits

I made gingernut biscuits and Katie helped me.

The hardest part was rolling them to put them onto the tray.

The easiest part was mixing it.

The recipe said it would make 20 but it only made 15.

The biscuits were crunchy and tasted yum.

  1. Hello Willow making Gingernut biscuits looks fun. They look yummy. That is weird that it said it would make 20 and it made only 15. What was your favourite bit making them or eating them? From Liliana

  2. Hi Willow, Yum! Those biscuits look tasty. Thanks for adding all the information about the easiest and hardest parts and how the biscuits turned out. It made your post really interesting and informative. What will you make once all the biscuits are gone?

  3. Hi Willow,
I liked the way your photos showed a step by step process of how you made the gingernut biscuits! Do you think next time you would make gingernut biscuits again or try making a different kind of biscuit? Enjoy eating your baking, I bet they won't last long!
    Enjoy your afternoon.

  4. Kia ora Willow,

Yum! Your gingernut biscuits look so delicious! You look like a professional baker in the photos. I love baking, I always feel happy when I bake. Today I made a sponge roll and filled it with homemade strawberry jam and cream. Maybe next time you could warm up the spoon with hot water so the golden syrup comes off easier. Did you get to lick the spoon before you made baked the cookies? I can't wait to see what you bake next!

  6. Kia ora Willow!

Wow! What a huge amount of comments on this fantastic lockdown post. So great to see you getting busy during lockdown doing something creative but also that is a bit of learning. I always find that my biscuit recipes are never as big as the recipe says they are going to be.

Keep up the great learning and blogging,
